Foils outside the park

how do the salomon foils perform outside the park? I found a deal on them and would like to know if they are reliable on groomers/ice/powder.

They're really light and poppy, fun in the park...but that reads in when you're cruisin through crud or pow, they tend to act like toys under your feet. How much for this good deal you speak of?

i had last years foils and thought they were frigin awsome, they were not very fat at the wiast but had a huge shovel so it kept the tips up in pow and stuff...but i was 5'6 120lbs when i had them so id say unless ur a smaller/lighter skier u could prob find better else were

dont get the foils. they still use spaceframe technology, which only means one thing: after 50 days of skiing on them, they are gonna be complete noodles.

i loved my foils for all-around skiing and in the park. its a solid ski in my opinion.
(i have the 05/06 182cm)

don't get silencers as someone suggested.

why not? they are hands down the best ski on the market in that price range. you can't find another twin for 300 that will ski as well as the silencer does.
