Nah, i had acl re-constructive and some miniscus fixed and i skied in 4 months with a brace. Ask your doctor about accelerated recovery, you should be able to ski by november.

my knee doc was on board the heli at the 98 or 99 world extreme skiing championships in valdez. i thought it was kinda cool. doesnt mean hes a good doc tho.
yea dude i dont think it would be that long. get ur surgery now. youll still be growing in july so that shouldnt matter. if u get it now youll be ready by the beginning of the season.

EDDIE! How did you tear your homles? That blows dude, but don't think you will be out that long compadre. Generally, now a days you can heal from a ACL real quick. On top of that, you are young as hell.

i think you might still be able to grow? the knee's just gonna be weird for 6 months, my friend totally killed her arm and its still lined up with her other one even though it was in a cast for 4 months
