Replying to Salomon boots ?

Ok, I'm sick of my boots hurting my feet and it's time for new ones, and I have a few questions. I've heard nothing but good things about their boots. People tell these boots are good for wide feet is that true?(this would be good for me) Also I heard that I should go half a size smaller on spks because they pack out, do I need to do that with foils as well? And 1 last question, do foils and spks fit the same,would i wear the same size in each boot? Thank yas!
