perhaps candide didnt have the entire x-games podium at his event. maybe his guests didn't have a key to the city and the opportunity to shag the babe of their choice. but pound for pound, the candide invitational brought about a level of creativity and style to the sport that I think hasn't been witnessed yet this year. peep this video, although i'm sure it's been posted already: http://www.skipass.com/articles/events0000/Candide-Invitational-les-v-1.php
personally i'm much more inclined to get excited about something of that nature than, say, one humonguous kicker. for sure jon's event has its place, not to take anything away from it. but if i had the choice of where to be in europe last week, i would have take la clusaz over Are no questions asked.
