Oakely Lens, Question

So I've got Crowbars, and a black iridium lens, pretty much covers sunny and partly cloudy, and thats it. I know HI Yellow for night skiing, but would there be a good lens for just straight up cloudy. I dont mean any of this white out, fog whatever bullshit, just when its cloudy. Anyobody have any experience with this? From looking at Oakley's lens tint stuff the one that jumps out is pink iridium, I've worn HI persimmon and I really didnt like it at all. Any suggestions, advice, experience etc would be great.

yeah i have high yellow and they are perfect for cloudy
terrible on sunny days and make ur eyes water

I feel Pink Iridium is a great lense what I have found though is it still is harsh in flat light and when it is sunny it is too bright. I have found the G-30 Lens is a much better choice. The G-30 was developed by Oakley with golfing Pro David Duvall. They designed it to help pick up the contours of the fairways and greens. This was the exact same lense Lance Armstrong rode in every Tour he won. It is a darker based lense but you will see the definitions and contours of the snow much better than Pink Iridium regardless if it is cloudy or not. Then when the sun does come out it will provide ample protection and not be too bright

HI yellows are good, but if the light improves, you'd want those iridiums. The Blue Iridiums are super versatile too. I love em for an all-around lens.

uhhhh... persimmon? i have fire for the sunny days, and used to use HI yellow for everything else, but got a set of persimmons this year cause oakley was out of fire at the beginning of the season, and ended up using the persimmon lense most frequently. it really is the most versatile lense they make.

persimmon is definetly most versitle. It's made for all conditions though. Since we has a lense for sunny days, it makes sense to get one that's more of a cloudy/lowlight then an everything lense.

Although, if money is an issue, or you like persimmon more it'll definetly get the job done. Personally I'd go with a blue cause it looks sick.

crowbars are my favortie goggle ever made. I had some Prodigys before that and I got rid of them after a few months. Can't beat Oakley optics.

blue iridium is a darker lense than persimmon though. if you're really looking for a cloudy day lense, you should be looking at persimmon, HI persimmon, or pink iridium, and maybe HI yellow if its super cloudy.

I like pink for cloudy days. The "ultimate" Oakley quiver would be:
Sun: Black, Gold or Fire
Clouds: Pink or G30
Dumping Snow/Night: Hi Yellow

The new Oakley site has a little thing that lets you look at a picture through different lenses. It is actually fairly close to real life too.

hi yellow is deff one of the best for when its cloudy...I find clear is the nicest for night skiing

Actually I was gonna get a set of G30 lenses when I get my half jacekts, for golf, I still like the whole idea of iridium for skiing though.
