Oh really now? Brand new the skis ALONE are selling for $450 or more. Add in top of the line bindings that are $350 and you can clearly see how these are easily worth $500 considering how little they've been used.
$800 brand new - $500 = $300.
$300/15 days = $20 a day. I don't think skis usually loose their value that quickly when taken care of, which these skis have been. As I said, very few rails, mostly pow, and actually, half the days they've been used strictly while filming (IE the filmer used them), so I'd put that figure at like 8-10 real days of skiing on these skis.
I think $500 is a DAMN GOOD DEAL for them.

bottom line, NS is too cheap as a whole to want those skis. But in reality for what he paid for those 500 is a pretty good deal.

uhmm, If you start your auction at $0.99 and have a $500 reserve on a pair of skis I'm not sure its going to make it up to there. You might have to get some people to bid on your auction for you to raise the price significantly. But hey what do I know? And also, how is the new magnetraction technology?

and not to mention how many popel actually own these, you could one of the few, plus the imagnetraction is dope.

I rode them 1 run and they ripped, hard. They're a friends I'm selling for him so I haven't been on them much, but he's in love with them, as am I after 1 run on them. if i had $500 I'd have bought them already. He swears he notices a difference with the magnetraction too, and from the 1 run I took on them I'd have to say I did notice a difference as well. Pretty dope skis.

well first off, P18s you can find new for like 250 to 300 tops, so used ones are not worth that (as soon as they're mounted, they are considered used). secondly the skis are around 600 new, but now is the end of the season, so they go for around like 400 a pair, and that's new, so you would also have to drop the price of those too since they have been mounted and used. the typical system used here is like the TGR one, which is for the approx max price you should get:
50% of current selling price (not MSRP)
-10% per year old
-10% per times drilled, per core shot, per delam...etc
-10% per marker binding attatched
+10-30% for Rare/High-demand item
so thats 150 for bindings and approx 250 for skis considering 500 is a greedy asking price now for stores, so you should get around 400 for the skis and bindings, but asking reserve for the price you expect is pretty unreasonable as most people on this site are broke (i know i am), making 300 pretty fair with anything more made as an added bonus.

and seeing as these were bought more then halfway through the season, you're wrong. The skis are easily worth $500, stop trying to get me to lower the price because it is not happening, go try being a greedy bitch elsewhere.

how am i greedy? you're the one who's trying to make money off NS kids, and im not interested in your overpriced skis. and prices don't drop halfway through the season, you should know that, not that it matters, as the price that's relevent is the price NOW.

The major thing with you asking $500 is its spring, and people arent really looking for skis, its a buyers market. If you want that much, wait till fall to sell them, when people need to buy skis, thats when im selling all my shit.

I'm not trying to make money off NS kids, it's an auction that is one ebay that I thought I'd share since that's what is done here.

Notice the 'rare/high-demand item' portion...I'd say the Libs are rather rare. $500 is a fair asking price for a gently used ski of this type with P18's...it's not your average Salomon 1080-type ride.

So because there rare there "hot". Nope there not going to sell for 500 no way in hell on NS/TGR/Ebay. Like somebody said its a buyers market, they prob wont even sell for 500 in fall. Maybe bindings will sell solo but not skis, there not really a catch for people.
07/08 are dropping so you have to compete with that also, I'd say 250-300 shipped. Anyway your going to take a loss and thats how it works. Even on brand new shit NS will find a way to lowball you to death so imagine something used.

^^^Was that relative at all???
Anyway they were my skis, i hardly rode them and if you arent interested you should probably just shut the FUCK up. They are the BEST skis ive ever ridden and if i had the choice i would not be selling them. Beefy, Durable, cool sidewalls, fun, magnetraction is no myth, NO the edges have no effect on rails, and because sharpness has nothing to do with how these turn, you can slide all year and still be able to hold an edge when you need to.They are unreal switch you can LAY carves like your riding regular.
Want innovation in skiing? Well you wont get it from ANY ski company, These are real deal and making a difference, produced at one of the best factories in the world by the most quality and foward thinking company. Someone said it before and i totally agree, it figures it would take a snowboard company to make any kind of innovation in skiing. You want to ride something worthwhile? toss your T Hall Pros in the trash and ride Libs you wont be dissapointed.
Any more speific questions hit me up and ill be happy to answer them. I swear by these things.
