Did anybody catch that episode the other day called "The Snuke" oh man it was great it had me rollin the whole time especially when they kept talkin about deactivatin the snuke in hilldogs sniz....omg if u didnt catch it u should check it on YouTube its a must see for sure.
I disagree..it's been getting better and better with each episode. I watched the whole series during this past winter and it has only gained notoriety and lost a lot of childish bullshit included in the early episodes.
Cartman has transformed from a naive fat kid with mental problems, to a cold and cruel mass murderer with a massive array of skills and a notion of leadership. Now that's progression, and I love it. Makes you wonder if he ever had a soft side to begin with.
hey man i can't go as far as to say i dunt like it nemore but i totally agree how it is going downhill this season has been a little weak in my opinion
Yeah it was dying off, but this year is hilarious, I loved it when the muslm went to go sit by cartman, and he was like woah, hey now,, got out of seat and walked away..haha classic
yeah man, what new southpark has that the old ones didnt, is the complete and uter ability to make any concept they want look completly retarded, and most of the time it is. The 9-11 conspiracy episode was SOOOO unbeleivably amazing and even complex for southpark. I couldnt stop watching the new episodes even if i wanted to
Well, I'll watch South Park for both the in-your-face stupid humor as well as the subtle or not so subtle references to the world's cultures. I'll watch it over Robot Chicken, over Aqua Teens, over Simpsons, over Futurama, over Family Guy, over anything else, that tries to take a bite at something we see and comprehend on our own, but just can't do it like Trey, Matt and everyone who works their asses off for South Park.
^ahah yeah that episode is sick... but the 24 theme was great... i laughed so hard at that episode. but yeah the lice one wasnt that funny. but i know what they were making fun of though.
its not that southpark is gettin worse...its changing. we fell in love with the simple jew jokes and seeing kenny die and all of the immature stuff. its still hilarious, but matt and trey are just taking their show in a different direction. if you haven't noticed, pretty much every episode lately has been a satire of the world and politics. so the humor isn't as blatent in some parts, but in other parts it still is.
Idk i thought the last episode was pretty weak compared to the others. Everything was pretty predictable, and fell right into the normal southpark episode mold. As so as they said there was a nuke and Hillary was on the show, I knew it was obviously going to be in her vagina. The first two episodes this season were priceless though.
The thing I love about it was how when I started watching it back when I was a kid it was immature shit and piss jokes. Stuff I wanted as a kid. Now that I'm older it's still great because they've progressed into using social allegories, dramatic irony and other good stuff.
lol right age at the right moment. Maybe that means the kids watching it today will grow up with an ironic and cynical sense of everything political? Maybe then it really will be our generation that saves the world all thanks to south parks childhood conditioning. Or maybe were all just fucked
although i do love the new south park episodes i must say i enjoy revisiting the old classics from the first 2 seasons and some crazy good ones like "Scott tennerman must die" from the intermediate series.
