hey i was looking at these they are only like $50 they seems like they could help you on rails and people cant even tell you have them on... is it worth gettin these or do they really not help at all... give me ur oppinions

I've seen them before. But the ones I've seen are super high priced. A guy I worked with bought some and he wears them around and says they take some impact away. But its weird that I have never seen them in a shop anywhere.

i have burton crash pads got them for 50$ ok for cold icy days and you cant notice them

I use the Dainese Soft ones - really good. Not bulky at all and they definately have saved my ass from a bruising several times.

hehe...nothing to do with crashpads at all but theres a thread called
pissed' then below it is one called 'pants' HAHAHAH...anywho ive known about crashpads for a long time,message baily_skiboarder or something cuz they sponsor him i think

I saw on Pro-tec's website they have some too. Like body armor almost. Seems pretty cool. I know there was a thread on this stuff a while ago. Something about some sort of company called skeleton or something. Damn i forget!

they suck for skiing.. when u fall, ur falling from too high, or going too fast for the pads to make any difference

The ones I use (Dainese soft) are really low-key - you wouldn't know someone was wearing them, especially if you wear your baggy pants, but they still offer enough protectio nto make them worthwhile definately. The Crashpads looks pretty bulky though.

Tip 2 Tip , thats not true at all. In a car wreck , an 1/8'' of padding on the dashboard reduces the impact by 8x. so therfore, i thikn those pads would work very good

are you talking about the ones that are in the new powder (or maybe it was last months). I think the shorts would be usefull but I'm not so sure about the top. if it had rib protection it would be good, because I smack my ribs alot on rails.

Hey man I use them a lot and I don't think you can tell I have them on. I think they help so much, I used to hurt my ass and hips because I'm mad skinny, and they haven't hurt extremely bad since I've got them.
P.S. Don't spread the word around that I wear ass pads.

ya man your secrets safe with me, haha, im mad skinny too prolly skinnier than you so i am going to get these because i hurt myself a lot on rails this year, especially when i got my skis, when i did the 180's on the bigger jumps at first i landed on my hips and they killed, also dont tell anyone that i will have them haha
