Replying to Paying for College

So as I'm making my decisions for college I'm left with the question do I want to go to UVM where it will be pretty much a continuation of high school but only $20,000 a year or do I go where I really want to and pay $40,000+ a year. I have $40,000 in the bank and will be at least $100,000 in debt when I graduate. How the hell do all you guys pay for these expensive colleges? Just take the hit and pay it off? Or you guys just rich? Whatever you only live once and I'm thinking I'm just gonna go with the $40,000 a year.
