I couldn't be a homophobe. At the restaurant I worked for in highschool for 2.5 years I had 5 or 6 different bosses and 2 of them were gay. It was really funny cause the one gay boss Travis would always try to get this dude Mark to come over and play checkers with him, hahaaha. I don't think I'm a homophobe, but I do get annoyed with that super gayness, like that Jack guy from Will and Grace, that kind of neurotic gayness is unbearable.

some really cool people I've met are gay. If they want to be gay, then that is their choice. I just don't want to see two gay guys, girls, anyone at all really making out in the middle of the street. their relationship should be the same as other couples. do what you want behind closed doors.

The Supreme court ruled that intercourse between gay people (I'm pretty sure they mean sodomy) is legal. So the gay community thinks that some precursor to them being able to be married. Also, my bet is that being gay isn't exactly a choice. Well not 100% a choice anyway. Why would someone want to be gay, you run a great risk of being ostracized, hated, and even the victim of hate crimes. It's a lot easier to be straight. your DNA determines if you're human, not your sexual preference. Although, like other people have said, keep that gay action behind closed doors.

That law mentioned above was passed in my state: vermont. so now gays/lesbians can marry....they are all flocking towards VT. i see so many of them in the streets...its purdy gross. but gay ppl are cool. as long as they dont act gay.

i do not hate gays because they participate in butt fucking, i hate them because they are homosexuals. It is not proven yet that it is biological. The idea of it being a chemical inbalance is still just a hypothesis, its just a theory that they cannot prove. I'm pretty sure you can choose what you like and what you dont like. Yea Mills, you suggest that their isn't enough empirical evidence to support that it's biological, but you aren't presenting any empirical evidence that it's just a choice. You've only offered a hypothesis also.

As for gays being allowed to be married. I think this isn't the same as letting them have the same rights as straight people. Marriage is founded on being a sacrament between a man and a women purported in most religions. So when deciding whether to let gay people be 'married' this needs to be considered. Maybe gay people should have something else, just call it something different. The problem here would lie in discrepancies in the law between marriage and whatever gays would have.
