Dakine Warranty

Wondering if anyone's dealt with Dakine's warranty policy. Love their product but one of my many packs ripped along one of the seams, and one of the waist straps has a puncture mark in it. Neither were caught or snagged on anything, just started ripping over time. Site says they have a limited life-time warranty, so how has everyone's expeirences been with them in the past?
