i know i am 18 years old but i loved teenage mutant ninja turtels when i was younger.. just wondering if anyone saw this new movie TMNT and did it totaly ruin the old turtels image?
I cant stand how the whole movies going to be CGI, and by the looks of all the promos and ads for the movie they look fucking skinny.. which is wack. they werent skinny in the past. Supposively now they can leap like 5 rooftops from building to building.. they never did shit like that back in the day.
I really dislike re-makes of classics.
I guess I just have a hard time excepting change. boo-urns!
I have not seen the movie though.
its the new TMNT... the whole new image has gone downhill since they went back in time... i think the best movies were 1&2 it went down on the third.. but it was still pretty dank.. but i dunno even though their skinny and shit, i'm still probialy gonna end up watching it.. just cause i have to watch all of them... and not to mention that i have the first video on VHS that i havent watched for a whilke i might throw that on tonight..
Man! I even thought the third one was dope, they were all decked out in some japanese gear, my memory is very vague on that last movie.. but I got the first two movies on vhs as well. I'm glad I do, they're awesome movies!
I think this was a pretty decent look for the turtles. The most recent TV show version had them looking like anime so this is at least a step in the right direction. Can't beat the live action turtles though.
TMNT was in the 90's and that's where it should stay.
So stupid doing a movie of them now. They were so cool back in the day, but now it's pushing it a bit too far. Kawabunga is no longer understood by today's youth.
I think the CGI looks pretty good, it'd be too hard to pull off real costumes + good fighting that would be up to par with movies like 300. They'd be in makeup for 5 hours and wouldn't be able to kick ass.
