NS,
In a few months I will be selling my '99 Nissan Altima SE Limited, in order to buy a tuner car with manual transmission. (my altima is automatic.)
In your opinion, what is the best car to buy at a good price (under $6,000usd), and tune-up the engine?
I want something with a V6 engine and front-wheel drive.
So far I am thinking about..
-Toyota Eclipse
-Honda Accord V6
-Acura Integra
Please post with any suggestions.
It does not have to be one of the 3 i listed.

ya ok so the sti beats it off the start, it does have all wheel drive you know. (and new tires aparently) i believe i said the civic would outperform an sti, i mean a stock sti with 300hp at the flywheel. the car is super heavy and without suspension mods a civic on coils with a camber kit and some new tires and it will out handle an sti. as far as performance goes, a swapped b18 with a medium sized turbo running relatively low boost will be faster than an sti, mainly due in part to the fact that the sti is a tank. seems pretty reasonable to see this.
now with that being said, i would rather have an sti becuase it is more reliable, and all wheel drive is tits.

eh, kids will be kids, kids will drive hondas.
Why tune a car that's designed in japan to get high milage and put along at highway speed? Start with a car that has to be autobahn worthy and wont fold up like an envelope when you shitcan it into a telephone pole on your T-rated all-seasons. At least start with a jap sporting model like a 240sx thats actually built with a stiff body and suspension designed for handling rather than comfort or commuting to dunkin' donuts.

That M5 is pretty sick. For all you Bimmer heads out there, I went to the BMW dealership the other day with my parents to check out some cars and they had the sickest shit ever there. An Alpina B7! If you know what that is, it is the tits. 500 HP/500 tq, it was I think 130 grand.

and what we learned today... it's more fun to be a dog that oversteers than to be a hyeena and understeer.
