hey just wanted to share a few pics with you.. just got these the other day from the head rep.. needless to say i was stoked..sorry bout the flash on the pics, but it kinda gives u a better idea what they look like. the ski has a different shape then the mojo or madtrix line, more rounded in the tip and tail, and alot different in flex.. fairly light for the construction of the ski, and there are several mounting points such as all mountain, park and pipe, and core center.. im gonna try em out next season so ill prolly mount em up with some px 12 or soemthin.. o ya, the ski is also 178 length..and they still feel as bombproof as what the other head twins were known for.
^ its actually 2 swedish supermodels who or twin sisters, contrary to popular belief..^^ and the flex is kinda hard to explain, they managed to make the ski bombproof and give it more flex then previous models
i wish they would have kept them the same. every ski is soft now, it seems like the only stiff twin left is the volkl karma which is now the wall. i dont see why they decided to change it, that is why people liked the skis, cuz they were stiff and solid as hell. i dont know, maybe im just weird cuz i like skis that are race stiff now after using some race skis.
ok my bad.. by the way i was explaing the flex.. i mean to say they are still stiff skis, by no means are they comparable to alot of the skis on the market, but what i was trying to explain is how the flex is throughout the ski where as with the madtrix it was very limited.. im oretty sure it will still be that super solid ass ski, just maybe a bit more responsive
Personnaly I love the graphics, dopest base graphics in my opinion and I love to have two of the hottest woman at my feet:P but seriously ive been riding head skis for several years, and I cant wait to ride them saturday, to test the new flex, length and lightness (those are just damn light thats incredible).
^ ya man thats exactly what i was thinkin.. i really wnated to try em out this weekend but we have shit all for snow left..fuckin rain.. but post how it goes im really curious.. but ya man i oculdnt get over how light they are its crazy
^yup ill post if I can saturday or sunday...one other thing I am anxious to see is what willl be the old skiers or woman skiers reaction when they will see those skis...I may hear some funny comments
I have been enjoying riding on a stiffer ski myself, thats why I ride chronic for park....but if those things compare at all to the chonics I would buy those in a sec.
nice. you will get so many compliments on the lift with those skis.
a buddy that i teach with got in shit he has the origional old school scratches with the outline of the naked chick on them.. and a kids parent complained. haha
ok so I rode them all the weekend. Heres what I have to say.
BY FAR the lightest skis ive ever ridden, feels like almost nothing in the air. easier to catch grabs. They are a bit softer than the last mojo 80, which is nice for butters but still stiff enough to stick landings. The topsheet is pretty solid, There will be for sure no delam problems on this ski.
Plus, those skis were at some times the attention center of people coming around it. when I would let them on a ski rack, almost every person passing by was seeing the ski, touching it, saying how those were nice and then they left, telling their friends what they just saw. That was pretty cool.
So those are very nice looking skis hands down, maybe the lightest on the market, with an average flex and still a bombproof constrution. I love them!
no way, this years were pretty light, ive tried some salomon thrusters and some 4frnts stls, and some fisher addicts. trust me, those skis will be the lightest skis next year
I got a sweet sticker of FREEZE magazine (r.i.p) that is a gold chain. That would look sweet with those things.
Did you go through proform with those? Man I love having next years stuff before anyone else has it. My buddy had next years dumonts before anybody on NS knew if dumont was going to have another promodel ski. (no big difference, its just the sidewall and the edges that are differnt)
