Aight...please dont make fun of me but im a newbe and i dont really know a lot about this.
everyone says stuff in their profile like o i can do a cork 9 and a 'fakie 5 critical' and stuff like that but i kinda sorta dont know what they r. they sound big so im think this person is good but i dont really know what the trick looks like. i know what a licoln is and the basics like japans, safties and other grabs. and i know all the spins but all this like unnatural rodeo 9...i havent a clue what it is.
and gosh i know u cant really show me on the site but could sumone explain what these are. like whats a natural and unnatural..what does a rodeo look like...and a misty....
i see all these mad steez tricks in ski movies and they look cool but i have no clue what they are...can anyone help w/out criticizing...?

natural is the way you normally spin, unnatural is opposite

just go to the video section...they usually say what the trick is so just study those

if you have no idea what even the tricks are then what are you doing on this site, if you know nothing of a sport than really i don't think you'd go out and say you do it or are starting, cause even if you're starting you know something, am i right...

check out the trick section. Imagine yourself doing what they say and yu will figure it out. Also, go to the vid section and watch some of them, look at the titles and analyze which way people are spinning, if they are inverted, etc.

'Yeah, I'll get that cleaned up lickity-split. Speaking of lickity-split what do you say you and I meet up later, see what's going on? Just kidding. But seriously, I'm new in town, kinda lonely, looking for my parents..

i'm not trying to be mean, i'm just saying you'd think that someone who is starting a sport or trying something would know something about it before they do it, rather than just doing something blindly without knowing what they're doing or getting in to, i mean that's great that you're getting into skiing, but maybe look at some mags or watch some videos and find out a bit about the equipment before you come in here asking what tricks are

and in the trick section, once youve analyzed the stuff, and how to throw it, try it on a trampolie to get the feel for it. that really helps.

Alright...

Switch means you are skiing backwards or hitting the jump backwords so a switch 9 would be you hit the jump backwards, it can also be called a fakie 9, or a cab 9. Fakie, Switch, and cab means the same thing.

Unnatural is the opposite direction of the normal way you spin. Corks, Bios and all that stuff are just a bunch of off axis spins im not gunna get in details you will learn just watch the vids

thanx guys. i know what a daffy and spread is and stuff. and i cant check out the videos because my comp sux and it takes 20min to download each vid. so i cant see them . nad in the tricks section under resources..the way ppl explain the trix confuse meso i cant really use that but u guys have helped a little . thanx
