I was out in the field doing arcaeology and these guys on dirt bikes come riding up and they're like, "what are you guys doing, you digging for oil?" (our pit at that point was about 15cm deep and we're digging with trowels not to mention we're out in the MIDDLE of the mojave desert - they were dead serious) Another question we got that day by more dirt bikers was, "are you looking for dinosaur bones?" I wanted to stab them with my trowel...
