Go into a good reputable ski shop/boot fitters and speak to the team. They are, and should be the guys that can help and direct you, that's their job and that's what they train for. I'm not talking about the person that has just started on a sports shop im talking a boot fitter, someone that has been fitting boots for years and years.
Everyone has certain things they do as a job and specialise at. A boot fitter wont tell an accountant how to do his job and vice versa. The majority of the people that will post you advise on hear can only speak for their own feet not yours.
If you take 100 people you will get 100 different answers on which make or model is the best. It doesn't matter what other people have and wear they don't have your feet.
Use some common sense and go to see someone that knows their shit. This may be easier said then done and that's where you can ask people here who they would recommend but don't ask what boots you should get. Speak to your local stores ask them questions. A good boot fitter is gold.

you dont really need to demo boots, the fit of the boot to your foot is gonna be way more important to you than the actual flex or any of that hoohah. a moderate race boot with a perfect fit would most likely be better in the park than a poorly fitting spk that's 2 sizes too big.

Golden. Boots are probably the most important part of your setup. Do those right, get them fitted professionally and it will be well worth it even if it takes some time out of your season.
