What do i do?

Ok I know its a little late in the season but i've got some questions. I used to race on TAS if any of you know what it is, but two years I quit and began to ski park (I broke my leg last year). Now of course my parents did not like me skiing park and dont want me to get the "attitude" which makes me mad because im a teenager and i would have that attitude even if i raced. So i've finally convinced my parents to let me do it, but when i asked if i could film(have my friends film) with my camera that i saved a bunch of money for, but they wont let me because they are afraid that i will break it. Also when i asked them if i could compete they said only if it was at snoqualmie. That made me mad because all of snoqualmie's comps are snowboard only. So my questions are, How should I get them to let me film? What should i do about the comps? By the way I'm only thirteen so i cant drive. Know that I'm writing this to vent my feelings but please give me suggestions or possible solutions.
