i was talkin bout the jib academy at northstar. I think it can be effective as long as people dont know eachother too well. at northstar, there was a large group of people who were voting for people who weren't throwin down and they voted for them because they were friends. Idk i guess im kinda biased cuz i personally was on the negative side of it (cuz i didnt really knwo anyone there). It just has the potential for being really unfair

they are better in the sense that it broadens the comp to more than just spin to win, but they can turn into a popularity contest he is right...
