Replying to Ski or Baseball?

I have a problem. I went to baseball tryouts today and my mom also told me that we can go to colorado to ski over spring break. One problem, i have baseball practice during spring break. I am only a freshman and there are about 20 or so very good sophmores that will probly make the JV team over me. But i am one of the best freshman and the coach says he wont cut alot of freshman because he needs a Varsity team in 3 years. I love baseball but skiing is better. What should i do.
