i kno all of u are gonna think im gay but im starting inline to cross train for skiing and also because i have nothing better to do in the summer. how hard is it to get started none of my freinds inline they all skate. i am a good park skier and i can rollerblade well but have never tried inline or rails some tips please
i strapped them on last week for the first time ever seriously. after 2 days i could get some 450's off my rail and did a 5 down my front steps. i play hockey so the riding isnt hard, and cuz of skiing i knew how to spin/grind. you shouldnt have a problem, as long as your not retarded.
oh yeah, searchbar nub
not many are gonna hate on you, i find a lot more skiers blade now. but anyways, you need to have good balance when you blade, when i first started off, i would just practice new stalls on curbs and just get the feel of them. then, make a small rail and start doing the stalls but when youre moving. then just work up from there.
ya dude i play hockey and stole my friends blades and was off to the grinds in no time... the skates just dont turn well all and when trying to do 270's on i always slip out hard and eat shit so im warning you now. good luck
^ yeah really... but rollerblading will help your skiing alot... just practice stalling all the diff grinds and stuff on a set of stairs... once getting them on the lower steps try jumping higher up this will help u get the feeling of locking on after a large leap... then take it to a low rail. and the grinds that are like ski grinds... like reg fronsides and backsides.. royales and farfs feel just like skiing...
they're not hard. I rollerbladed for a while, and then got inlines and it only took me a little while to figure out what to do. I recommend learning on one of those little blue X-factor rails or whatever. They're small and round and easy to use.
