Windows Movie Maker is terrible, hands down, but I've been using it since last year because I can't afford a real program. Some tips
1)If your footy is really 41 min long, try splitting it up and capturing it in smaller 3 min segments. It takes forever but is easier and eliminates most lag
2)Make sure your camera is registered with the computer. I had to install the stupid "Sony Picture Package" program before the computer could recognize my camera correctly
Thats all I got...Good luck!
