These sticks are siick! Nice and stiff, lots of pop. I rode them in powder and groomers and they ripped in both conditions. This is the best park ski I have ever used so far. I had them mounted 2 inches foward from dead center and they still weren't half bad in 2' of powder. The edges are BOMBPROOF!! I have beat these things like sallay and they havent bubbled or cracked or anything whatsoever.
Pros:
stiff, light, durable, perfect dimensions (in my opinion)
Cons:
weak topsheets
all in all, I love these sticks. the only actual downside is the topsheets chip very easily. I would do a simple nose mute and if I kind of smacked them together on the landing, I would take a piece of topsheets about half in inch in diameter out of my topsheet. one side of my nose is peeling off the ski completely (delam).
I skied on an old pair of fischers a long time ago (the camo ones) and I didnt like them at all. After trying these my whole opinion on Fischer sticks changed. They really stepped up their stuff this year, and I think they are definately worth buying.

Just out of curiosity, why did you mount 2 inches from dead center? wouldn't you have gotten better performance from the ski center mounting it?

uhg not this again:
shorter tips = easier nose grabs
longer tails = easier tail grabs
longer tails = easier switch
shorter tips = easier nose butters
when riding around on solid packed snow, I can't feel the difference between foward and dead center; I only feel it when Im in the air and its goood.

seriously what the fuck is everyone's problem with foward mount? Jesus, it doesnt FUCK UP the skis, it doesnt feel all weird, its just a way of mounting, get over it. It doesnt mean a ski will perform less great at dead center. No matter what, people will mount their skis in front of the sidecut unless its a symmetrical twin. So basicly it rides just like a non-symmetrical twin mounted at dead center. I'm sorry for venting but Im just tired of people being ignorant.

I like the addicts but I'm a small girls and they are way to fucking stiff for me, I bout them for pro form reasons and kinda the looks, and now the top sheet is shitty.
i actually honestly like them but hat ethem

most people are stronger skiers foward than switch (obviously) so it doesnt seem that unreasonable that you would mount foward of center to give your switch riding a bump. Plus, if someone that knows skiing like tanakaskier says its good, im not just gonna assume he's full of shit. center is dope though, that i know for sure.

get mad if you'd like, but that sounds kinda silly to me. and i don't believe for a minute that they skied well in two feet of powder. and tip grabs are easier with a longer tip. and even if two inches forward was exponentially better in every aspect, i still wouldn't do it because it would have to look so retarded.

i skied last year's (06-07) addicts in pow center mounted, and it was pretty terrible - i had to lean way back just to keep the tips up.
as for this year's twins - i had mine sent back to the factory this winter and they said they'd warranty them with this year's sticks, but i'd get them only when they had them in stock. my question is how did you get hooked up? will i get mine soon, or will it just be next season?
and i had the de-lamming problem too, unbelievable skis though

yeah how the fuck would shorter tips make nose grabs easier? i can understand tails but tails arent really hard to realy grab for i mean come on could u not grab ur tails if they were centered? long nose = easier nose grabs derrrrrrr

stop hating, he obviously thinks that they are sicker with a forward mount and im pretty sure that not very many of you have tried that mount so shut up until you try it

first off, I lean back when I ski powder, period. That way I get the most spray, so it really doesnt matter how long my tips are.
and Fischer contacted me and were kind enough to give me a pair to test.
as for the tip thing, I am very unflexible. The longer my tip is, the farther away the tip will be from my body. Think about it, its basic geometry: if the angle of my legs/torso is greater than 90 degrees, then the longer my tips, the farther away from my torso they will be.
having short tips eliminates this problem and compensates for my stiffness.
I know I should stretch more though ahaha
and what did I say about being ignorant? How do you know foward mount is stupid unless if you have never even tried it? Maybe you should stop being an old fashioned, ignorent dumbass and start thinking about the physics behind it a little more. And of COURSE foward mount isnt best all mountain, but who skis park skis outside the park? Theres a reason why I have like 5 pairs of skis.
did you people even think about what I just stated?

and did it ever occur that just because something rides good, theres a possiblity that it could ride even better?
thats like saying that right now, computer technology is at the best it will ever be.
