Switching iTunes for new computer?

is it possible to transfer your itunes from an ipod when you get a new computer without having to load it all onto a flash drive or a cd?

yep,im not quite sure where it is but plug your ipod in and on itunes in file i think it is it should say backup files.press that and follow instructions or somethin and theyll load to your comp
