I need skis, and thanks to the cheap prices of backcountry outlet, I can get them.
Here my are my choices and why. Im looking for suggestions or possible other places where I could get good skis for less.
06/07 Dynastar Trouble Makers- They seem like a super sick, solid park ski that have new reinforced edges that would make park skiing uber nice and fun, and consistantly good. Only problem is they have a 78 mm waist and that would leave me down in the dumps on those accassional western trips.
06/07 fujatives- I've used fujatives for the last three years, they are good skis and hold up nicely but I'm kind of looking for a change. They also loose their camber and become sometimes too noodly, but usually a super nice super consistant ski.
06/07 Teighty Foils- Starting to stretch my budget but I might go for it. I've never ridden solomons before but I heard they are good skis. I'm guessing that this is a park ski, thats a little fat and flexy, and I think it would be fun for my east park lifestyle, but not sure.
Im also thinking about something a little more stiff, like public enemies, silencers, or chronics, but I think they may be a little too rigid for my park rat skiing on the east coast and rare out west trip. I was thinking invaders but I've heard that they fall to shit easily.
Help?

of the three you listed I'd say tms, I have some of the older tms and they ride so nice, so a tm + edges that stay in should equal a dope ass park ski. how much do you weigh? cuz chronics are pretty stiff but they are also a really durable and fairly light weight ski for park. I've seen a lot of invaders this season that are still in one piece so they might be better but i dont know for sure.

if u wanna rip up the regular mountaian, definatly go with something stiffer like the public emenys or the chronics. the rest will be real noodly outside of the park, they are all fun, but if u wana rip up tree lines and such stay away from the softer ones like fujis and tms. overall read the reviaws on freeskier, im gonna drop the fisher addicts or nordicas park ski, they got good reviews and r a bit stiffer i believe.

I got PEs at the moment and they are quite nice. Very solid skis, excellent for landings, and the width is pretty nice. They are a bit heavy, but you get used to them eventually. I weight like 210 and iv been rippin on them about 35 days so far and they hold up like tanks. Barley any base damage, the edges still look like new. On rails they are great, and jumps are where they really shine. You feel so much more stable on the landings. Also these things pick up speed like you wouldn't belive, and they hold together without any sort of wobbling. So far, best all around ski I have ever rode.

The Chonic will do a lot to fix up your park skiing, you would be suprised at how much the stiffness helps.

Well the three you listed the trouble maker is a great ski. However, you said you were worried about sinking on pow days. I would also recommend looking into the ARV or the Scratch BC, both can ride pretty much anything and both are amazing.

i dont like p.e. they feel dead to me
i used to ride super soft noodle skis but now i switched over to the chronic, and they are way better than my last 2 skis by far. dont chatter at speed, great edge hold on ice, i love them in the park, after a few days they are soft enough to butter, but still have the most pop ive ever had, great on jumps, very strong, i have rode a good 30 days on this ski and i have no problems with the edges, and only a few p tex spots, and for these ptexs it was because my mountain has had 70 degree weather and a 2 foot base.
