just kidding, i love america, but now that i have your attention...

anybody know where i can get some elastic cord, i'm trying to make a lacrosse trainer by drilling a hole in a lax ball and attaching a piece of elastic rope to it. i checked the home depot and lowes websites but the only kind i can find is only 1mm thick, and would break on the first throw

and I don't know if this idea is gonna work to well. it seems like it would be hard to pocket the ball with a cord attached to it, and when it comes back, it will be harder to catch since it will want to recoil

yeah, dude. you are just throwing the ball with an elastic cord attached, its gonna come back atcha hella fast.

the ball will still release and catch well with the string attached to it. and making it harder to catch is pretty much ideal for training

Be carful where you tie it to the stick, cause if you do it in the wrong place, it will always hit just below the head or something, or on the side. just get some balls and practice on a goal or somehting, or throw against a brick or concrete wall somewhere.

do you mean like a bungee cord? like the ones that ties things down when you put a christmas tree on your roof, for example? if thats what you are looking for try a local hardware store if you have one, they have hooks on the end but you could cut them off

i'm not gonna tie it to the stick, i'm gonna stake it in the ground with this thing we got for our dog, its like a giant one ft screw that you stick in the ground and you can tie the end of the rope to the top of it.
