so the last few nights both Jay and Stu have gone crazy with their snowcats.
off of rail alley behind the water tank you will find Jay's 5 line of BMX jumps. Sick...super pump-able, super steep, super short tables..just plain DOPE! I couldn't count how many people were hiking them this afternoon.
at the top of 49ner heading kinda toward Lost Dutchman thru the woods is where Stu went nutz...
ok.. think skimack up rail without the rail and twice as big followed by a flat version with three takeoff and woo booter side cars follwed by a giant rainbow in the same all snow style..no rail. The day crew is gona need to tune them up a bit with shovels in the AM but it will definitely be worth checking out later in the day.
We have been salting and speed isn't really a problem on the jump lines. The FLow international team was shooting on the big 3 line today. Antti Utti, Scotty Lago, etc...all hitting the two step downs and the step up! the big three works as a line as promised. Everyone on the crew are all very stoked right now seeing so many people just outright slaying everything we've put out since the big dump.
I'm getting really close on the super stuntditch. Should be done sometime tomorrow afternoon/night and open Monday morning. Even if I get done early on Sunday, I'm gona keep it closed to get maxium set up in the snow so it doesn't mush out as bad in these warm temps. it's about 50ft longer than before, about a half a degree steeper, the old pipe opened at 61ft wide..this one is being cut at 56ft wide. I'm super pumped on how it's coming together..even with this insane heat wave.
The HH shop battle is coming up this thursday. it's in the upper night park so the pipe and lower park won't be effected by the event.
We have a specialist on site now working on Lost Dutchman Chair. I heard rumors that it might be back up and running in 10 days.
We pulled the remaining 40 and 24 ft rails from Dutch and added them to rail alley along with the kinked staircase. The cboxs/sbox were going to go on quicksilver but we are gona hold off for a few days and see what shakes out with Lost Dutch. With all of the snow back there now, my feeling is that that line will be the c & s-boxes plus 4 to 5 20/25ft jumps and the BX course when that chair reopens.
Hames has been working on replacing broken plastic on several flat boxes and both our smaller f/d boxes...look for combo set ups between 49ner and Dutch when he finishes the new plastic.
Hum...Wallride...um..yeah ...wallride..still trying to find a new home for the wallride( you can thank SKIMACK for that). I haven't forgotten about it, just still brain storming.
xoxoxo
