Replying to Crotched Mountain: Worst competition ever.

So Crotched had a big air comp. today. It started out fun with the "70ft." jump being decent. Then came the amateur men... We were all supposed to take 3 runs, two of the best runs counting. The first few kids went and most eating shit on the jump because of speed issues. Then we get a message at top saying that we are no longer allowed to hit the jump and can only hit a much smaller jump above that that no one has hit yet. Although we signed waivers of liability, they thought it was for our own good. Anyways, we do that but because of the confusion the first runs took forever and no one took the jump seriously for obvious reasons. Second runs come and we are told that there will be no third runs because of how long it was taking and this didn't help because the radios died between the guys at the top and the ones at the bottom. We start getting told by people coming up the lift that we can hit the big jump again while the people down there (now communicating on cell phones) saying we cant. We wait for a little while longer and decide to say fuck it and go for it. Fast forward 30 mins. second runs done and still with the confusion some people didn't know that we were done. What's worse is that half the kids didn't even get to take a second run and one kid never took any runs because they told him the wrong time we were starting. Pro division goes and they are run flawlessy. 2 hours later we are still waiting around for the finals to begin and for them to even announce who was in the finals. I just leave along with a bunch of others. Way to fuck it up Crotched, I'm wagging my finger at you.
