Chairlift to switch out

so my buddy decided to go sswitch out of the lift today and was one of the fuuniest things ive seen in a while, the liftie slowed down the lift and everything. anyone else ever tried this?

I like to get off a little early because Big Sky has like a 20ft flat section you ride on while sitting on the chair before the down part of the ramp, which is like 2-3ft vertical drop, and do 180s to that, and then claim it hard. It's fun to do when you ride up with gappers.

we ride the chairlifts on our knees facing backwards and then do it so ya its no that uncommon

I did a chairlift to one ski after my ski popped out right after getting on. How does one go about skiing off switch? Stand up then rotate around or rotate round on the lift?

i've got a 360 off the the chair before. it was sweet.

but honestly it's all about trying to climb around the chair while going up (like the game with picknic tables and people and stuff.

saw a kid lose a ski and got kicked off the mountain not his fault at all he was like 13 lifty freked out clipped his ticket
so no i will not try to ride switch
just stare at the ground and be polite

everyone talks about skiing switch and getting their tickets clipped. This seems alot easier to piss of ski patrol. Im going to try to 180 off the lift though.

I rode the chair completely switch a week ago. not very comfortable. kinda sketchy without the bar down. getting off is really fun though.
