there was a thread a little while ago and it was how to do an ollie, then someone sayd people can ollie over signs and shit. someone post a video of a huge ollie for me thanks

How can you not know how to ollie? Have you never skated or even heard the word ollie? Its just simply leaning your wait back, then poping up and shifting your weight forward which levles your skis out. Just watch how somone ollies on a skateboard and apply the concept to skis if you dont get it.

on ski's it is way harder though. When you are on a skate board or snow board you can shift your weight to one foot. On skis you can only shift your weight to your heels. Try jumping off the ground just using your heels, its hard as hell. On a board you can jump off a whole foot so it makes it a lot easier. thats all.

Totally true, it takes alot more practice to get down on skis. and also on skis you only have one point of pressure, whereas on a snowboard you can apply pressure to both feet, (pushing and pulling at once) and get that much more flex out of your board, which means more energy return and a higher ollie.

Ollies on skis look pretty shitty if they aren't done right. Even when done right, the height is minimal compared to snobeezies.

really a true ollie in the skateboarding sense would be using lifting one leg then the other. example: this could be done skiing when sliding a rail and then stepping up to another rail in a higher position. This transfer between the two rails would be an ollie by lifting the front ski into the air and having the back ski follow. Then both skis would land on new rail.

its super easy if you have centered skis or just lots of tail, dont shift weight onto your heals, keep your weight even further back than that and then pop and level out. Its fun to just pop off rollers and fly!

man my friend ty (jibberpunk on NS) can ollie shit literally 4 feet high, i will have to post a video sometime, but its tight, just off an ollie too no lip. its crazy fuckin shit. personally i love buttering.
