UN Slams Canada for being Racist

What a fucking joke!

It adds that Canada should "reflect further ?on the implications of the use of the term," but offers no suggestions about what words would be acceptable.

To the committee, highlighting a certain group does not appear to be consistent with Article One of the Convention, which says racial discrimination occurs when equitable treatment is upset by "any distinction, exclusion, restriction or preference based on race, colour, descent or national or ethnic origin."

Eliminating all forms of identification would raise the question: How can minorities be helped or protected if there is no definition of who they are?

Did the UN get the memo that whiteness is the standard in Canada? Maybe they'll check up on whites in the Congo, make sure they aren't being segregated...

dude, that's just the point, and in saying they're a minority, im assuming you mean according to their skin color, making you a racist according to the UN. White people, in the Congo, would be a visible minority... Just as black people are a minority in Canada, and the distinction made visibly.

If white people are visibly set into a different category (ie white) than the other people (ie black), then according to the UN that seems to be racist...

Haha yes, we raised them well.

Its true that govenment employers ask for a minority status. But, they claim it is for statisics. I dont think we are racists as a whole, but the head people are ethnicaly biased.
