UPS shipping, us to canada

k so when someone says there gunna pay the shipping and they live in the states, do they pay 25$ and then once it gets across the border we have to pay for it? or if they pay for shipping does the entire bill go to them? including tax? so basically my question is im gunna buy something from virgina and im in ottawa and hes gunna send it UPS how much is this gunna cost me? cuz my dad says ill have to pay for UPS to bring it to my house form the border+tax

yess, ups is mad expensive...like you dont really know on what they base their price for the customs fees. I received one time a skateboard with trucks and the custom fees was half the price of the deck, and when I bought my skis from ebay, it didnt cost me anything because he used express shipping...so try with usps...

If your shipping across the boarder with anyone but a company make sure they mark the package as a gift! This way you don't have to pay customs on the crap. Saves you moolah!.
