i go to uvm and i like it a lot. lots of really chill kids, good classes, good professors. St. Mikes does have a better campus, but UVM has Burlington.
haha, i knew i shouldnt have typed anything because i knew i was completely ignorant bout that. but if anyone here thinks im a moron, its probably because I am a moron.
actually that's not true, even in my big classes most of my professors knew me by name, and i had some good interactions with a lot to them. the professors here are pretty good. but ya if you sit in the back and make no effort the prob won't know who you are
My chemistry teacher met with me once a week for a whole semester and when I saw him on campus, he had no idea who I was. Isn't that ridiculous? He's the only professor I had that was that bad though. My others were pretty cool when you made the effort.
UVM my sister goes there andshe loves it and what not
she teaches at HV too so uv prolly seen her but yah she skis at like jpeak 4 times a weak and parties quite a bit but not rediculous
We play them in soccer and they have a decent team. They are d2. They aren't bad. They have a siiiick field.
Sorry it doesn't relate....gotta love alcohol.
ok so i can go to any state school in VT for free, i have never been a great student but i do OK, about a c/b average. people who know the state schools (lyndon, johnson, uvm and others i dont have time to list my laptop batts dying) which one would you choose not based on a major but based on the campus and general enviornment(class size and such) i guess if it matters im looking into graphic design mostly.
That totally depends on what you like; class size is perfect for some people if it's under 20, perfect for others if it's 75+ kids. While I didn't like UVM, I'd say that's your best bet in general for a good education, lots of diversity, big campus with lots to do, and it's in Burlington. Some classes are small (forestry classes, for example) and others are huge (pre-med for example).
i applied to uvm but didn't get in, and ended up going to champlain instead. check it out, it's actually a really nice school. smaller than uvm(2,000 or so) but the class sizes are really nice with only like 20 at most, and all the professors are really good too. the campus is kinda small, but the buildings are all very new. lots of technology if you are into that, really good majors for computers too.
Both are sick but I chose Saint Mike's, uvm seemed a little too big. either way we won the battle for burlington last year. holla! good choice looking in Vt for a school though
