whenever i leave my computer (macbook pro) and the screensaver turns on/it goes to sleep, the internet connection turns off.. anyone know how to make it stay online while im away?

ur talking ichat yes? i have that same probably. i usually just end up leaving myself signed on instead of away. then the comp doesnt sleep tho. i donno. any smart people have an answer?

theres no reason to have your computer sleep unless you're really concerned with your electrical bill. I doubt an idle computer costs more than 20 dollars or so to power a year. Although I could be wrong.
Just make it so the screen turns off because leaving it on all the time will wear it out.
