ok well i was at there big air today and we were riding up the lift and we seen how amazingly steep the landing was... u either would case it or prtty much over shoot it. but neways in pracitce i threw an underflip 540 and they dqed me i mean how gay is that
just so you know i was standing right there and it was a backflip 180...or otherwise known as a flare. it was cool, but you should know the the judges would dq you. they did also dq'd a misty 540 which was totally bogus.
as for the landing being steep...it was 30 degrees...how do i know i helped build it. i did however tell them that building a reasonable landing is not possible on tiger and tried to get them to move it to north bowl. obviously my request went unanswered and there ya go.
next year should be better, new management from paioli and from what i hear he is very up on what a decent terrain park/ big air/ fun resort should be!
I agree with the flare. It was definatly not a rode 540, but my friends misty 5 was completely clean and not inverted. The landing however, was no where near a 30 degree slope. I am going with a 60ish degree. You are crazy if you think say its under 50.
dude i was sitting in the cat...the inclinometer said 30 degrees! towards tghe end of the comp when it started to get bombed out a bit i would push for 40. i am not just making this shit up man!
we dont suck at sucking.
kent still will have say in the goings cuz he is teh owner
but he wont be around as much so therell be alot more freedom
mabey the halfpipe all the way down peters
I'd rather see the building of a terrain park like they had with all those rails 2 years ago than a halfpipe.... it was Brandywine that was actually steppin it up this year with their park, i'd love to see Boston Mills do the same...
Kent Grahaam no longer will have a hand in BMBW. First off he is not the owner, he never was, his wife owns part of Peak resorts with her brothers. they just operate BMBW. They are now moving to Attitash in NH to fuck up that resort. Paoli managers should now operate BMBW and they even have plans for a park crew for BW next year which is something Kent wouldnt dream about so hopefully next year will be better. Althought Kent might still be around forthis weekends rail event.
