Replying to How fucked is my friend?

I just got some real shitty news. One of my friends just got pulled over, his car got searched and the Fuzz found just over an O, bagged into one half, a quarter and like 4 twenty bags. There were also two pieces in the car, a scale, (maybe two) a couple more empty bags, a grinder, lighters, etc. Theres no chance of the search being thrown out since there was a warrant on his car from when people doing work on his car found nug and called the police last may. Now, I know this is a reallly bad situation, but I also know that the american legal system is terribly biased towards rich, white people. His dad is acting as his lawyer, i think, and his dad used to be a pretty serious lawyer and has a good reputation and decent influence. This kid was going to BU next year with some scholarships and I believe was already accepted to grad school as well. This has been pretty disorganized, but i'm in shock. I'm trying to think of any other useful situation. He turns 18 in a couple months. Does anyone have any idea of how fucked my friend is?
