ive never gone cork before but from what ive seen and heard, the more spin you do, the easier it avoid landing backseat. Thats why everyone says do cork 5 and 7 before cork 3...it also makes all Dumont's cork 3s more impressive...

i think i was doing the cork and coming out of it fine but i still have more time in the air so it seems like i start to go back into cork. therfore i land on my back. make sense?

it sounds to me like you are going too corked. dont throw it as far back and and throw it as hard. let it come around

Kind of depends on which spin you are trying (3, 5, 7, etc.) Without seeing what you are doing, I would say you are most likely coming out of your tuck too soon. The key to a cork spin is holding a tucked position till you're back on axis. Many people open up early and try to force the rotation because they are scared they won't make it. Other than that, it just depends on how you are throwing them. If you tell me what spin you're going for and how you are throwing it, I might be able to help. Also, it has nothing to do with how corked or inverted your are. The rotation will be a little different but all of them can be brought back on axis.

Just saw you're other post. Over rotation could throw you into the back seat, especially if you're going way corked.

You're probably setting too early or just backseat on the takeoff. If you're backseat when you take off you're going to be backseat when you land

if you open up too early, you won't come out of your cork. hold your grab as long as you can
