Just had to. Yeah, cuz I've held my soberness for two fucking months today. Well... more like anti- weed, yayo, caps, e, whatever else. Forgot until now, and am sorta proud of myself in a way.
I stopped with the slight help from an amigo or two. I'd have bud like 3 times a day, and yayo I did at least 2/3 times a week. It was like a rountine for about 7 months. It all sorta contributed to my 'downfall' you could say.
So yeeeas, at a buds place, remembered, & just had to throw it out there before getting shit faced tonight.

I'm on Month 11 now, I go to N.A & A.A a few nights a week.
Was at a hotel party this weekend, and when a friend tells you they're glad that you don't drink anymore, it really say's something.

People like you shouldn't talk. You have to start somewhere, and although bud isn't addicting, if you do it a lot, it quickly becomes a lifestyle. It's an activity you tend to do with your friends very frequently, and telling your friends you're stopping and breaking loose of that habit and lifestyle is very difficult. Two months or no, that's still something, and is worth celebrating.
Congrats, although I'm not sure why you'd ever stop smoking bud haha... I'm gonna be one of those old 70 year old bastards with a corn cob pipe all the relatives think is crazy, but it's really because my pipe is filled with green.. hehe.

...going on 2 years now...Men need altered states of consciousness, in moderation, but none at all is a perpetually dulling hell. Have a great day

Dude I smoked bud for like 8 years almost daily, and did other shit if you can think of it I was probably doing it. I was addicted to Pot and I will admit that. I am not proud of this but I realized I was fucked up and went cold sober for pretty much 2 years. Now I am smoking buds again cause I love it! I am telling y'all this for the chance that maybe I can convince some people that if they want to go sober they can do it! The best advice I can give is distance yourself from people who are doing shit you don't want to be involved, and find some activities to replace drugs/alcohol. Skiing is a great one, and working out is another one.

I'm not saying it's impossible, I'm just saying you shouldn't knock people for making the choice to do something about their lifestyle to begin with, much less when they've stuck by it for two months.
I love smoking, but if I ever decided it was negatively affecting my life and I decided to quit, and someone came on here and knocked me because I'd only stuck by it for two months, I'd be pissed.

Thanks for the props man. Yes two months probably doesn't seem that long at all, but as said, when bud, alot of other shiv and alcohol almost daily become a lifestyle, contributing negatively, and you want to change.. two months IS a big deal, for me at least.
I'm not saying I'm going sober for life. Just wanna chill and get stuff back together.
But I'd definately be up to meet an older dude hitting round 70, just blazing away from time to time. Haha... that'd be awesome.

yea u are right pbskl it is wrong what I said, it came off totally wrong. I guess what i was trying to say is good job for committing and getting it done for 2 months, but if you want to go longer you can do it, you just gotta find things to replace the substances.
