Ordered some stuff over a week ago...get a confirmation for my order all that shit. This was like last thursday. They call me on Wednesday, after I email them asking if my order has been shipped yet. Turns out what I ordered was out of stock, which is why they called me. Found a replacement item, the guy on customer service was really cool. He said it would be shipped out that day so it would be here by Friday (today). I get home, nothin, email them. Turns out it hasnt even shipped yet and I'm leaving for Florida on friday and i wanted the clothes I ordered. Fuck. There is a chance I may be able to get an overnight though so we'll see.
Just got done talkin to them and they said they would ship it next day air, which is garunteed saturday delivery but he said it wouldn't be there till monday..wtf? dissapointed in their customer service...
HA. Have you noticed that they are doing everything they can to make it better. That place has the best customer service you will get anything. IF it were Getboards or somewhere else you wouldn't even be able to get anything done. And you should have received an e-mail about the out of stock item. Maybe it went to your junk folder? Sucks they messed up the first time, but at least they're trying everything they can to get your shit to you..... They can't control that UPS won't ship on sundays and in some places saturdays.
BC.com is based out of Utah, which has been getting dumped on recently. The people who are supposed to be shipping your shit are probably taking halfdays to get freshies. Seriously.
nah dude, its not like that. I ordered my shit last thursday, and specifically said that I wanted 3 day select. No big deal, I was hoping for it in a week. I then had to contact them to realize it was out of stock. After that, they promised it would be mailed out that day. 2 days later I check back, still nothing. Sure they usually have decent customer service, but that is just pathetic. And whoever said maybe I just missed the email, I didnt, I live out of outlook and there is no way i would get an email without noticing it (which i didnt, because i check all of my folders multiple times a day). There were many things they did wrong, which is why I am giving out the negative feedback. Everyone also says getboards is so bad, but I've never had a bad experience with them so whatever.
yo, it sounds like they're puttin a pretty good effort to get shit taken care of. I mean ya, its still not goin as smoothly as possible, but it looks like they're trying to fix it
I agree with everyone who said they have great service. I remember I ordered bindings from there, and they didn't ship next day. I said how I really needed them by that like wednesday cause of a 24 hour thing on the following friday. They didn't charge me extra, changed my 5 day, to 3 day so they'd get here in time, which they did, and yes my skis were ready for friday.
Dude, it is because you are using an sbcglobal.net e-mail address. They pre-filter alot of e-mails so you don't even see them in a junk mail folder. Comcast e-mails do the same thing
They did that to me with skis. I ordered them and it was confirmed. Then i called a week later and they said sorry we're out of stock and i asked when they were going to tell me. i was a lil dissapointed to say the least
From the sounds of it they have a couple of warehouses and the communication between them isn't great. Its a poor excuse, but thats all they could give me. I don't think they're A+ for preventing fuck ups but once they do screw up they are extremely good about correcting it and then some.
getboards screwed up my order by 4 months, then finally told me that the item i was trying to get ( i ordered before christmas, it was april when they told me this) was out of stock. sure they did send me the sweatshirt i wanted for christmas in late february, but it also was ripped to shreds. it took them over a month after it was shipped back (which i emailed them multiple times about it cause i was tired of waiting) to answer a phone call and tell me that the sweatshirt was out of stock.
Every experience ive had with BC.com has been excellent! The customer support is great and they are really supporting our industry (via Tramdock.com a company of theirs). props to backcountry for sure
