How do you build your own boxes and rails?

im trying to build just a standard flatbox and a flat rail and i was wondering if anybody knew what materials work the best to make a box slide on top. thanks.

HDPE or some shit for the top sheet and use like 2x4's and plywood for the rest.

thick hard plastic such as hdpe or lexan will work. learned by experience, the thicker the better. also, pvc works reallly well also its cheap and easy to work with. id say make a box out of lik 5 tubes of pvc pipe thatd be dope
