Replying to Scratch on bottom of my ski question

I got a scratch/gouge on my base about 2in. long and 1/8in. wide. Its not to the core though or anywhere close but it wont be waxed out and it goes sideways across the base. I think I got it when I fell on a big jump and I think it hit my other ski. But, my question is; Would it be smarter to fill it with P-tex now or wait because I am planning on selling them soon like ride them maybe one more time? Would the value go down knowing they have been filled or should I let them people see that it isnt that deep and let them decide to fill it or not?
