There are some 4frnt 614s for sale ^there somewhere on the site right now. $125 is a good deal and I like my 4frnt bindings from what little I have used them. They have a smoother release than the look/rossis IMO and don't prerelease as much as salomons. In other words pretty much they feel like a combination of salomons and looks to me.
The P12 was and is still a good binding. The turntable heal helped with sideways landings and releasing better, but in reality, it wasn't a huge difference over the newer PX Series.
Just get a good Look/Rossi/Salomon binding. Pretty much any of those would be fine.
I could sell you a pair of brand new PX12 Jib Wide Bindings, for 150+ shipping. Thats a hundred off the price in stores. Sick bindings. If you don't go with px12's, I would then say Rossi FKS' 185's. Little heavier but you will never come out of these bindings.
If you hate the PX heel, try to find a Rossi FKS 120. Same 3.5-12 DIN range, same toe piece, but older racestock turntable heel. It's a good binding. Heavier, but good.
It might be a sign that Look/Rossi are completely ditching the turntable heel for next year. No more FKS/P series bindings unless you know where to look.
