Dear Line Ski Retailer & Consumer,
This correspondence informs you of the immediate recall of Line’s 2006/07 “Fly” and “Pro” Skiboard models. Effective immediately, we are advising you to discontinue selling these models and to follow the procedures outlined below.
We have made the decision to recall Line’s 2006/07 Fly and Pro Skiboards due to screw retention issues on the binding plates. As a result of a potential manufacturing issue, the bindings can pull out of the skiboards, which could lead a skier to fall and sustain injuries – no accidents or injuries are known at this time.
Dealers,
Consequently, please discontinue the sale of the 2006/07 Line Fly and Pro Skiboards and return them for credit – all returned product will be destroyed. To receive a credit including related costs of shipping the product to us, please call our toll-free customer service number at 1-888-546-3754.
Consumers,
Consequently, please discontinue use of the 2006/07 Line Fly and Pro Skiboards and return them to the store you purchased them from for credit toward the purchase of a different product – all returned product will be destroyed. Please direct all questions to the dealer you have purchased product from or info@lineskis.com
Please feel free to contact us directly at the numbers & email above at any time with any questions about this notice.
Very truly yours,
Tim Petrick
VP Global Sales
