Hey, I am looking to buy new skis (twin tips) and I was wondering if I could get some information on the different brands and what is the best. I do not do terain park as much as just speeding down the hill and go off a few jumps. I would like to get into tricks more though, so I am looking for some skis that would be good for speed and tricks but mainly speed.
you cant go wrong with a Silencer great all mountain and it wont burn a hole in your pocket
dynastar trouble makers are good
public enemys
ar6
they all good choices i recommend
look into rossignol. They make solid all mtn skis. The deviants are also great. Line...well, the shronics are alright, but:
whats your height, weight, ability?
The scratch fs wrs is the best if you are lookin for stability at speed. If you want something for pow days as well the bc wrs is the one. Both great skis for carving and stability. Great all mountain twins.
i have some 185 blizzards from the late 80s they have no side cut so they are perfect for speeding down hills with out carving. they are also much lighter than modern skis so they are really easy to do helicopters with. And the extremely narrow waist allows for them to be used for going much faster for grinds do to no base resistance. these are the skis for you.
