i am just starting ot put grabs into my spins but i and tending to miss my grabs or not reach them when i go for them so i am wondering what streches i could od to make grabing easer
i dont know any stretches but just grab further back on your ski and try to tuck more. i think this is one of those things you just gotta work out for yourself
what was said above is true, but stretching helps alot to. Stretching ur hamstrings helps a ton, as they help with your back too. Id say this is prob the most helpful stretch for me. Stretch out ur calves to and also just reach for ur toes as this is the motion used for most grabs. If u keep it up it can make a huge dif. I used to only be able to get liek 4 inches from the floor w my legs straight now i can touch it
what does it mean when ppl say practice grabs on the chairlift? are you supposed to hold yourself between the bar and the seat?...i never understood what they meant.
also in the air when you bring your knees up make sure you grab ahold of your ski before you try to tweak or pull it in more. that might be your problem with losing the grab before you get it. since its offseason even lie on your back with your skis on and go for grabs on your carpet.
