Broken Rail

I don't want to be one of those kids as another member already put it "Post threads just asking what the slippery stuff on top of boxes is". But, the topsheet of my backyard rail broke and I'm looking for alternatives other than PVC

the hdpe is looking good. I'm just wondering: 1. Does it slide well or does it need anything extra, and 2. Can it be glued on or does it have to be screwed. If it needs to be screwed then I've have to order a thicker sheet.

if you glue it, it will bubb,e and be ruined screw it with alot of screws

definetly counter sink them you will scratch your skis and fall on your face if you dont
