so im trying to export using quicktime conversion, but i wanna conserve the 16:9 while still being able to export under 100 megs....what settings do i need to change??
if your using quicktime conversion, it should stay under a 100, if you pick Lan/Intranet setting for size, than to keep the ration 16x9 go to settings, or options, depends on the version of final cut, and go to size, than choose custom size, and play around with numbers that keep a 16x9 aspect ration, for example i usally use 16x9, and it usually keeps my videos around 40-50 megs
open a photoshop canvas in 16 by 9 pixels and then change the image size and it will scale for you, then set that size under the custom size option during export.
no no no do what jeff said, if your doing it through fcp then you will be albe to export uncompressed right to quicktime and then just change your QT settings to mp4 or what ev your desired format is.
