i use OLD look tt9s. its a 15 din all metal race binding with the turntable heel and a 3d release toe. nicest binder i ever rode. PXs are garbage, the old pivots were pretty damn nice. the old marker race stock turntables are supposed to be awesome.

Nothing wrong with PX. They hold you just as well as the old P series but the heels don't develop any play like the old ones. Get PX's, Salomon 914 or FKS.

i agree the hold is fine on them. but the mounting points put a huge dead spot in the tail. go ride a ski with racestock turntables, and flex the tail, it flexes directly behind your heel. now try it with PXs, it like lifts up cause of the dead spot. the old P bindings did have a bit of play, but for park, id say it made them more forgiving, and having the proper flex is more important than a minute amount of binding slop. it doesnt seem like much, but a narrow mounting pattern drastically improves ski performance. dont believe me? try yourself.

Between my brother and I (same sole length) we've got 4 pairs of 916s, 2 pairs of 912tis and one fischer x17.
Obviously the 916s are the shit. Fucking bomber. So solid, great hold and they never release unless you really need them too. They are heavy, but they aren't on park skis so whatever. Haven't skied a better binding.
The 912tis aren't bad, but aren't great. Sloppy toe hold, constant toe wing adjustment is neccessary. Light though, and on our park skis, perform well enough for me.
The Fischer x17 is a pretty wicked binding. 7-17 DIN so if you want to crank it, you sure can. WAY more solid than a 912ti, but not exactly a 916. Pivoting heal release is sick for park, and light enough that they aren't cumbersome on park skis. If I have a need to buy more park skis/bindings I will seriously consider this binding. Good value, but I'd have to see what I could find some used FKS for before I made my decision.

Rossi Race 140s (P14s sans lifter), and vist 614s, i like them both, the pivots being the best park inding ever created, and the Vists being fairly light and consitent on mypow skis.

don't go with salomon bindings, i have 912 TIs still but i won't get them again. they have served pretty well, they don't feel solid at all though. i am afraid they are gone break on this toepiece. they eject a little easy as well but not too bad in that department.

Axial race 140 (pivot series) on my Prophet 130s, and I really like the pivot bindings, they've always been good to me. And on my beater/park ski I have some Salomon C509, which I'm pretty sure is quite possibly the worst binding ever made, on mine the back release lever is somehow F-ed up, so when I pop out I can't reset the lever...I have to line up my boot above the heel hold and press straight down to get in, then fumble with the lever to make sure I'm actually in. That was before I shattered the heel piece from steping on the lever to release me to go into the lodge, so yeah, don't get those unless you find them super cheap and need an urban binding or something.

i have loook px12 ti jibs, a pretty good binding, but the dildo piece got like bent back too much and i had to like kick it back into place, causing my brake to break off

I was looking at getting a pair of the freeflex or railflex to go on my JP's...but I kept hearing mixed views. What are your stats and how do you like them? Also how light are they, cause I wanna keep my setup for the JP's light, I was thinking about the Z12TI, but I heard they break really easy, so now I might wait until Marker comes out with the Jester/Duke combo and try one of them. Not sure though.

p12 jibs are really sick, super light but i ahve developed a ton of play in the heel after two seasons, to the point where i have to adjust them every 2 or 3 days
used to have 912ti, super light but like its been said, the toe wing need constant adjustment
looking to pick up a pair of fks 120s before they are all gone

For next year Salomon made a line of freestyle specific bindings. The STH12 and STH16. Basically the Z12TI and the 916 just reinfroced for park. The 12 is still a 3 bolt toe though so the reinforcements aren't going to keep the binding from ripping out of the ski like most 3 bolts do. That said, I have the Scratch 140's and love them. I have 2 pair, one with the pivot heel and also this years without them. I like the new one's better cuz on the old ones I ripped the break out and the heels are super sloppy.

s810 ti
they are amazing and release when you need them to, but not when you dont want them to, the wing pieces get loose sometimes but its an easy fix w/ a screwdriver. They have that thing that if you twist your ski they will pop out, saved me from a twisted ankle a few times

I have a pair of s920 race binders on my AKs, and z12 binders on my ARVs... the 920s are really heavy, but I def rarely come out unless it's a rough crash. I would say stay away from the s912 ti though. I have broken 2 pairs of those already this season. I never had any problems with my toe piece breaking though like alot of you are claiming, my healpiece is the part that I kept destroying. The metal plate on the bottom snapped on 1 pair when I landed flat backwards, and the other pair the heal piece exploded from a similar cause. I have heard alot of good shit about z12 and rossi fks series bindings though. Go with something heavy duty if you plan on going nuts on your sticks bro.

rossi scratch 100 with the old pivot heel...LOVE THEM! but im getting a fair amount of play in the heel going on two seasons now. Also have look pivot 14 love them, but a little heavier than the scratch 100 but higher din and more durable and same heel play, but less ridden so not quite as much.

can definitely say that fks is the shit, so bomber, plus next season you can actually buy the wide brakes and dont have to bend em

You are correct...
I ride the 920 most of the time and the z12 is more for messing around cuz I seem to pop out alot on those for some reason while riding it. My 920s are set on 17 and the z12 is set on 12. I weigh 195ish

correct. the Squads are the all black FKS binding with wide breaks, that will easily accommodate 110-120ish waisted skis. they are ENTIRELY made of metal, weigh a ton, and are the burliest binding ive ever seen. even the non functional plastic cover on the heelpiece has been replaced with a metal version.
somebody should seriously buy the tooling from look and start reproducing and improving the turntables. those bindings are so much more superior to the PX heel it isnt even funny.

I have the px12 last year without the moveable heal piece
i hate them very muchh, absolute garbage in my opinion, i pop out on the easiest things, i broke the break somehow when i was tuning them.. don't even see how that was possible but one of the metal pieces snapped and got stuck because of the spring in an upright position soo i had to take a hacksaw to it and cut that piece right off. Sooo now one of my bindings has a break that is absolutely usless.
im most certainlly never getting them ever again
next year its either, the new marker freestyle binding, the salomon binding, or vist binding
