Nordica Blower. 185 (measures more about 182). Seriously this ski charges. I"ve never skied anything that makes me feel so comfortable on big lines. I was also amazed that I had plenty of control on hardpacks, and even moguls. Great ski, it trucks

BCs aren't stiff I can butter on them relativly easily. You might also wanna consider the Nordica enforcer then it's stiffer than the blower. 98 waist so not quite as beefy but great ski

Squads (especially in the 189 and 194 lengths) are like 2x4's - ridiculously stiff. The last two years ANT's have been decently stiff and everyone I talk to says they are super stable at speed. Check out this years Gotama, as it's a little stiffer than past years. Also check out the Head M103, and this years Supermojo 105.

ya I know I rode those all last year in pow and in park. They're a pretty medium flex pattern. I"ve skied park ski's that are stiffer

184 squads are a fair bit softer than a 189, and are narrower as well.

bsquads are outlandishly stiff. unless you're really givin' er, i'd say go with something like the gotama in the mid 180 size, 183 maybe? the wider heads are sick too. also, don't forget about the line prophet 100. one of the stronger all around skis on the market.

Is there anyone who can tell me whether or not the 184 Squads are stiff compared to other bigmountain skis on the market

I'm pretty sure that the B-Squads are stiffer than all the all-mountain twins in that range.
I did some similar research a couple months ago. Head's Mojo 105 is reckoned to be the stiffest of the all-mountain twins. It comes in a 181, which would be more than enough ski unless you're (a) huge or (b) good-sized and crazy-aggressive. The Gots and the Prophets are next in line.
If you don't care about twin tips, you might check out the K2 Chiefs or the Dynastar Prorider Series in addition to the B-Squads. They're fairly stiff.
If you plan on turning much, doing technical lines, or going into the trees, I wouldn't advise going with a too-stiff ski though. There's a good reason why pow skis tend to be softer.

Booyah. We ride the same skis. And I'll agree completely, super stable and comfortable on the bigger stuff, yet I was stoked on the carvy-ness i got out of them on groomers. SIck ski for sure, but the lack of an attractive graphic would probably turn 99% of this site off the ski.

Not super stiff, but the both the Scott P4 (181) and Line Prophet 100 (179,186) would be good skis to check out. I love my p4s.

The P4s also have, in my humble opinion, the sweetest graphics out there. I did a mule kick on Saturday in their honor.
And my love for my 186 cm Prophet 100s is well documented here.

Message iggyskier on here and buy his head im103s, because they would be fucking IDEAL for you. Not to mention it's for a good cause. I believe they are 183 long.

those still arnt stiff.
and some kid said the ANTs and yes, they are stiff, but keep in mind they are getting softer. Armada seems to have softened them up this year, and next year as well i hear. just keep that in mind.
stiff skis include...
squad
legend pro
legend pro XXL
head 103
head 105
EHP 193 (mainly)
Lotus's(havnt skied them personally)
Gotamas are getting in the soft range of skis
Movement Goliath(beastly fucker)
Black Diamond Verdict
im sure im forgetting some, but those are off the top of my head, and all of those are pretty much the most proven skis in the industry. cant go wrong.

If you're really looking for a pure big mountain ski like you suggested, don't look at any of the twin tips because they just won't perform like a directional ski will. Personally, I ride 186 Legend Pros and they are by far the best ski I have ever ridden. Super damp, really fast, and surprisingly easy to ride. Granted they are definitely on the stiff side so if you get too far back you'll get your ass kicked, but if you ski in the backseat you shouldn't be looking at a big mountain ski anyway. The only other skis comparable to the LP's would be the 184 Squad (slightly softer and turnier-25m) and the Mojo 103 (similar flex and bigger turn radius-38m). I would definitely suggest getting iggyskier's m103's because those are an incredible ski and he's selling them for a really good price.
