this is the first asian ive EVER seen on snow that isnt trendy. they usually all have the nicest shit ever and suck mad dil, whatever as long as they look good
gaper is a much older term than we think
my dad is ex-ski patrol and a gaper back in his day was somebody who rode the lift to the top of the mountain, and got scared and "gaped" with their mouths in fear. basically a new skier
NOWADAYS it means somebody who skis without steez or style, which includes the gaper gap (gap between helmet/hat and goggles)
racers aren't really gapers because they are "racer kids" and their parents raped them too much as a kid so they think they own the mountain.
I personally have never seen an asian look good. this is exactly 100% the asian i see daily, but the jeans are way too white in this, they prefer the bluer ones
After reading the comments on this thread it is easy to conclude that you all think that anyone who is not as COOL as you is a gaper -
Therefore, you are a gaper to anyone who thinks you are not that cool.
Infact, we are ALL gapers by that definition -
Too me, a gaper is anyone who defines themselves as a skier, yet lives in the flatlands, commutes to their "ski house" and has their parents pay for their gear -
whoah whoah. have you ever seen a video of Prince Chuck skiing? The guy has
done some absolutely INSANE lines. I saw a video of him on BBC a few years ago
where he could've passed for McConkey. He's no more a gaper than Glen Plake.
gapers are kids who have all the newschool shit and sit at the top of the park on their 07 invaders and tightish pants and the newest gogs and gape at you while you tear it up and they just stand up there like they are waiting to drop.
Its pronounced Gay-per, and though it refers to the gap between the beanie/ helmet and goggles, its so much more than that.
Jeans, Hunting camo, texas tuck will make you a gaper
